You will be defeated even if you win like King Parikshit. For more clarity, you will have to understand the Gita. 'Pandavas won the battle. But they lost everything. They lost their friends, relatives, teachers, and many wise people. You have to fight the cowardice within you. You will get an empty victory. The struggle will be continued. Whether you agree or disagree in the conflict. You only have to face fierce competition; otherwise, you have to win at any cost. And you will win.

You will get much unfairness even you do not want to. Real loses. You will have to face loss if you do not act wisely. Let everything settle. You have to amend yourself and others too. He is King Parikshit, waiting for the snake, Takshak. Shrungi Rishi cursed the king Parikshit. That Parikshit has to die of Snakebite in seven days.

When Parikshit heard the curse he accepted his fate, but the ministers created a guarded mansion that would stand on a solitary column. Anyhow, Takshak entered the mansion through a small fruit. King Parikshit and his guards are waiting for the Takshak snake.

Parikshit while hunting was fatigued. He came across the hermit of sage Shamika and saw the sage meditating. He asked him the whereabouts of a deer, which he was hunting. The sage did not answer as he was meditating. Angry at this Parikshit placed a dead snake in Shamika's neck. The sage had a son named Sringi who heard this incident from another sage's son named Krisa. Sringi was furious at this. He cursed Parikshit that he would die of Snakebite in seven days.

When sage Shamika came to know about it, he was disappointed with his son. Shamika ordered his disciple Gaurmukha to go to Parikshit and inform him about his death. After knowing the curse, King Parikshit accepted it, but his ministers created a solitary column to hold a mansion on it. King was guarded against all the directions. Suka Muni, son of Ved Vyasa came to recite Bhagavata Purana.

Kashyapa, a sage who knew how to cure snakebites was coming for the king. Takshaka understood Kashyapa's purpose. He stopped Kashyapa muni, by offering wealth. Takshaka changed himself in the form of an insect and hide in fruits. A messenger came from Kashyapa, with the fruits, so the guards allow him to take the fruit basket to king Parikshit. As Parikshit was supposed to eat the fruit, Takshaka appeared in his original snake form and bite Parikshit, leading to death.
